What is Apache CloudStack?

Apache CloudStack is a highly scalable IaaS cloud computing platform that provides a cloud orchestration layer, automating the creation, provisioning and configuration of IaaS components. It turns existing virtual infrastructure into a cloud-based Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform. Because CloudStack leverages existing infrastructure, the costs and time for the organisation to build a multi-tenant IaaS platform are greatly reduced. CloudStack is a turnkey solution for MSPs, cloud providers and telcos, and it supports integration with a wide range of hypervisors, storage providers, monitoring solutions and other technologies.

Apache CloudStack integrates radosgw via its Object Storage Plugin framework, introduced in version 4.18 and extended in version 4.20. This integration allows administrators to register Ceph RGW endpoints as Object Storage Pools.

Apache CloudStack integrates with MinIO via its Object Storage Plugin framework (introduced in version 4.18). This framework allows administrators to register MinIO as an Object Storage Pool, which tenants can then consume as a service.
