Hello, I am Antonia, the newest member of the Marketing team at ShapeBlue. I am working as a Marketing Assistant since January 2025 and genuinely enjoy what I do each day. But before I dive into my current role, let me tell you a bit more about myself.
Before ShapeBlue
I began my career in journalism, having studied the field and worked for one of Bulgaria’s largest television networks. After a few years, however, I discovered a new direction—one where I could use my communication skills in a more impactful and versatile way.
For nearly seven years, I’ve worked in digital marketing and PR, mainly across the fields of education, healthcare, public administration and IT. I’ve organised local events, run campaigns, and created countless articles, press releases, and advertising materials.
My interest in technology goes back to my school days, when I first began exploring how digital tools work, how to use them efficiently, and how they can enhance everyday life and streamline both personal and professional processes.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and discovering new places. Sharing the beauty of the world with my little daughter is a constant source of inspiration.
How My ShapeBlue Journey Started
Having previously worked with tech companies, joining ShapeBlue felt like both a challenge and an exciting opportunity. I saw it as a chance to contribute to a company’s success while developing my own skills.
Open-source technology was completely new to me, but I’ve been learning continuously and take great pride in raising awareness of such a meaningful open-source project as Apache CloudStack.
As a Marketing Assistant, I help organise events like the CloudStack User Groups and the CloudStack Collaboration Conference. I also edit video content for social media and YouTube, assist with Q&A checks, and prepare reports to track our progress and ensure we remain aligned with our goals.

Just a few months in, and I can confidently say this is the best place I’ve ever worked. From the very beginning, I was warmly welcomed by people I had never met — virtually, but genuinely. I had one-to-one conversations with every colleague, which gave me the opportunity to get to know the real people behind the names and profile pictures.
